Wedding Day Advice
1. Hydrate
You are going to want to drink plenty of water throughout the day. Many brides forget to drink and eat because they are busy running around, but in the end it makes it much harder, some even pass out.
2. Ask the Cater to set aside extra food
On your wedding day you will be hungry once the guest go home and your packing up your things and ready to head over to your hotel for the night. You get there and settle in and then you realize you need food. this is why its nice to ask for extra, so you can eat later and not have to worry about it.
3. Don’t do too much the week of your wedding.
You will want plenty of time to relax the week before your wedding. Over doing things can cause loads of stress on both of you.
4. Break in Your wedding shoes!
If you have time break in your wedding shoes before your wedding day. If you do they wont hurt as much and it will make the day much more relaxed.
5. Ask the officiant to get out the frame during your first kiss
This is a great option so your photographer can get great shots as man and wife without any distractions.
6. Have your guest hide their phones during the ceremony
when your guest have there phones out and everyone recording or taking pictures they don`t have your full attention and the photographers shots during the ceremony will show all of there phones. Asking them to hide them illuminates that and gives your images a much cleaner look.
On The week before
7. Try on your Dress and accessories.
Trying on everything the week before is a good idea so you know everything fits perfectly and looks good together.
8. Clean up your to do list
9. Clean your rings
Cleaning your rings with bling ring wipes is a good thing do just before. It helps your rings shine well before the photographs are taken.
10. Confirm all your last-minute RSVP
Having your RSVP s Confirmed is a good idea in order to know the final head count for food and seating.
11. Finalize your Shot List for the photographer
Your photographer will be happy to know what you want photographed most and having a shot list really helps out with that. Knowing who to focus on and what group images you want will be better for both of you.
12. Finalize your seating chart
Just before your big day finalizing your seating chart is good idea. you do not want to do it too soon because you will always have those last minute RSVP.
13. Check in on your marriage certificate
Call in to the office to make sure everything was filled out properly, so that you don`t have to worry about it being delayed.
14. Confirm your honeymoon days
Make sure to call and confirm your honey moon days and time. the last thing you want after the wedding is to find out your days were all mixed up.
15. Prepare all your payments
Having all your payments prepared for your vendors and venue in once place will make things go smooth. Having to run around and look for them during your wedding day will take you away from all the fun.
16. Check on the rehearsal dinner
Make sure you check in on the rehearsal dinner and to let your wedding party know as well because you are going to want them there to practice.
17. Package the gifts for the bridal party
18. Prepare a list of party songs
Having some great party songs ready to go for you during getting ready times or even on the ride there is a must.
19. Pack an emergency kit, you never know what you will need the day of your wedding.
Having things like bobby pins, sewing needle, tape, etc.. can save the day
